Life in the Time of the Corona Virus

"You can't always get what you want," Mick Jagger plaintively sings in one of his numerous Rolling Stones hits. The Corona Virus outbreak leads many of us to want the impossible -- certainty. That's unlikely to be the case in the near-term, no matter how much we desire it.

Not surprisingly, this uncertainty has caused market turmoil. I've seen a wide range of responses. Some people have reduced their exposure to stocks while others see this as a good buying opportunity. Most people have just hunkered down to ride it out.

I still recommend keeping a long-term perspective. Diversification will help you feel more comfortable along the way by helping to reduce losses.

I'm happy to discuss your particular situation with you.
